I cannot believe that in all my 57 years of life, I have just recently - a few years ago - discovered Hyaluronic Acid!!
With micro-needling my face, I really needed a soothing serum, something that would absorb into the channels I created but wouldn't irritate my skin. I decided to try Hyaluronic Acid Serum from Cosmedica.
What drew me to this company was the fact that their hyaluronic acid serum is cruelty free, Paraben free, vegan (even though I'm not vegan, I support those that are), and no extra ingredients that I needed to research before purchasing.
Now I have become a super user! I put it on with a cotton ball throughout the day. It comes with a dropper, which I really like - easy and sanitary - I don't have to touch the tip of the dropper to anything. And it is not expensive at all - which is very refreshing - finding a skin care product that is affordable and does so much for your skin.
Hyaluronic Acid (I refer to it as HAC) gives our skin long lasting moisture. It is a great anti-aging tool and is supposed to actually plump up our skin - when our skin is well hydrated it is more elastic. Proper skin hydration also PREVENTS acne. Believe it or not, when our skin is dry, our oil glands try to hydrate it by secreting more oil which clogs pores and can create breakouts. That's why, even acne prone skin can benefit from extra hydration. Of course, I am a believer of caring for our skin from the inside out, too. So try to keep yourself hydrated - especially during this hotter than normal Summer.
And, as I always say - USE SUNSCREEN EVERYDAY!
